Member Success Advisor

Position Overview

Are you an outgoing, business-minded, digitally savvy superstar who LOVES supporting and encouraging others? Do you delight in finding new ways to create engagement, connections, and powerful conversations? If the answer is a "Hell YES!” keep on reading…

A thriving, connected, and well-supported community = the ideal member experience. We’re on a mission to make sure our members always feel supported and encouraged when they partner with us to turn their big dreams into a reality.

The primary focus of the Member Success Advisor is to support the members of our coaching program community, while working with others on the team to shape and implement the overall community strategy. This includes coming up with new ideas to support our members so they have everything they need to achieve success.

Our ideal candidate is an outgoing people person who’s great at motivating others and offering creative solutions when community members feel stuck. Your communication style is clear, positive, and helpful. You don’t shy away from doing whatever it takes to ensure the members of our community feel heard, encouraged, and supported, and have the tools they need to thrive.

We’re looking for a compassionate, inclusive, forward-thinking community success advisor who has experience buying, renovating, renting and selling houses.

This is a part-time (approximately 12-15 hours per week as an independent contractor to start), remote, work-from-home position.

There is potential for it to grow into a full-time employment position. This role reports to Debbie, at this time.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Member Success Advisor will be primarily responsible for managing our members only Facebook community by increasing success, engagement, and growth in our community of women building impactful and profitable house flipping businesses.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Increasing community and member success by preemptively providing resources that help people get unstuck and always leading with compassion and understanding.
  • Establish supportive relationships with clients, aimed at assisting them in articulating and meeting their goals.
  • Knowing and communicating Debbie's voice, vision, values, and content with total confidence.
  • Learn and utilize The Flipstress’ tools, frameworks, and strategies to guide clients through mindset and business development.
  • Lead or co-lead small- and large-group coaching sessions via Zoom.
  • Assist members in discovering what it is that they want to achieve, ensuring that set goals are realistic and achievable and helping them dissolve mindset-related obstructions.
  • Offer daily spot coaching in our member-supporting Facebook group.
  • Help members set boundaries, embrace discomfort, evolve their money stories, cultivate self-trust, and learn to make smart, data-driven decisions.
  • Facilitate community and participation among our members in various ways: leading group calls, participating enthusiastically in our online community forums and client-facing events, connecting members with resources, and celebrating members’ wins.

Skills & Abilities

The ideal candidate possesses the following strengths and skills:

  • DETAIL ORIENTATED, organized, creative, and great at measuring results, and meeting deadlines.
  • You’re a people person!
  • You are great at supporting others and coming up with creative solutions.
  • The ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously — you get things done and keep promises.
  • Comfortable with Facebook (the more advanced the better!)
  • A patient and compassionate approach to community conversations — you’ll be supporting entrepreneurs who are taking big risks, therefore it’s crucial that you take an understanding approach that puts kindness first, always.
  • Commitment to continually learning, improving, and refining our community-building processes.
  • Extremely flexible, compassionate, and team oriented — you stay positive and committed to solving problems instead of focusing on them.
  • Mature, coachable, and happy doing high-level projects as well as mundane administrative tasks (there will be a mix of both!)
  • Outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal) — you get people and are great at seeing beneath the surface and getting to the root of an issue.
  • Strategic insight into how we can use existing assets to create sustainable growth and deeper community connection.

You Will Know You Are Successful In This Role If

  • Our members feel intensely supported.
  • Our members are achieving their goals.
  • Our member retention is stellar.
  • Our team is happy working with you and you love working with us.
  • Our members are raving fans and referring others to us on a consistent basis.
  • Our members are learning new, important skills to achieve their goals.

This Position Is Not Right For You If You Are

  • Someone who hasn’t read a business or personal development book or listened to a podcast or webinar in the last month. A passion for business and personal growth is essential and we all strive for personal and professional growth at every turn.
  • Someone who has a lot going on already, and isn’t willing to let any of it go.
  • Someone who isn't willing to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
  • Someone looking for a 9 to 5, Monday to Friday job.
  • Someone who lives for the weekends and hates Mondays.
  • Unable to work in a flexible, 7 days a week kind of way. Members may need support on a Sunday. We need to give it to them.

Who We Are

Our mission is to educate, encourage and empower women who are committed to personal development and want to build impactful and profitable house flipping businesses -- all so they can be self-sufficient, have more time freedom, and leave a legacy.

We help these women by providing support and coaching that challenges self-limiting beliefs, along with an empowering community and strategic, business-building content. We are on a mission to change the landscape of the good ol’ boys real estate investing industry by creating a network of badass women across the country who are running heart-driven house flipping businesses focused on serving others first.

Our goals are to:

  • Become the go-to education and community platform for women who want to start or improve their house flipping businesses.
  • Ensure 100% of our clients have the tools and support needed to flip their first house (or their 101st house) in a way that makes them want to flip another one.
  • Create a network of successful women across the country who collaborate, support and push each other to create the businesses of their dreams.

Our Core Beliefs

We are responsible. We are committed to radical personal responsibility, that means admit when you’re wrong or when you’ve made a mistake. It also means be loud and proud about your accomplishments and contributions and don’t downplay them.

We serve our program members. Our members have entrusted us with their big dreams and we honor that trust by providing the very best member experience possible and are always looking for new ways to surprise and delight our clients. We are 100% committed to serving our members at the highest level with the full respect and quality they deserve.

We make things happen. We are committed to making things happen. We’re a team of doers, and when we come up against a roadblock we’re quick to find and decide on a solution to make sure we keep pedaling forward.

We challenge ourselves personally. We are committed to education and growth, and are constantly improving and innovating. We refuse to stay stagnant and are always coming up with new, outside-the-box ideas that will blow our customers away and take our company to the next level. We value and nurture creativity in our team.

We are coachable. We are willing to make mistakes, own them, learn from them quickly and continue to move forward. We don't take feedback as a personal attack. We take it as an invitation to improve ourselves or our processes.

We teach people to fish; we don't just give them the fish. We ask questions and help guide our members to their own answers that are already inside them, they just don't trust themselves enough yet. We teach the why and how behind processes so these can be replicated with ease whenever needed.

We have each others' backs. Being part of a small team means that at times we are all hands on deck. You’ll never hear anyone on the team say “that’s not my job.” Each of us shares a can-do, everything has a solution attitude. We are all in on this mission together.

Laughter is mandatory. We work hard and we play hard and we share a lot of laughs along the way. If you’re not having fun, what is the point? We’re a family, and having an environment where we can all be ourselves and have a good time is of utmost importance.
